Samsung, TVA Join Hands for Commercial WiBro Services in Brazil

Samsung recently announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with TVA, a subsidiary of the Brazil-based media group Abril. Under this agreement, Samsung will initially provide 35 base stations and WiBro modems to TVA, which will start a commercial WiBro service in the city of Curitiba by April 2007. In the future the service will further expand to four other major cities in Brazil.
